This is a story about things never finishing.
This is a story of a rotting corpse.
This is a story about a software staying,
forever, while the moment has passed.
It's obvious to me that once engraved,
we have to deal with the consequences.
Without its textbox, a visual novel never progresses past the eternal setting of the background. The story is stuck in itself. Dissecting the layers, we discover: character encoding, graphics and command need to be in sync in order for the game to contine - quietline takes these elements apart and puts them into physical character-set tiles.
